Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Republic of Armenia has received a loan from the ADB towards the cost of North-South Road Corridor Investment Program. Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and the completion of the project: CW-ICB-T2-2022/2: Completion of construction of about 34.0 km of highway M1 Yerevan-Gyumri-Bavra (from km 37+545 to km 71+435) (“the Works”).
All Works must be undertaken in accordance with ADB Safeguards Policy Statement (SPS).
The Contractor shall carry out the Works in accordance with the detailed design and the requirements of the technical specifications, which are part of the Bidding Document to be provided by the Employer.
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: Two-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
