Supply and Delivery of Incinerators

Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

For its efforts to enhance solidarity between nations and reduce the difference between rich and poor states, UNICEF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965.

Invitation to Bid (ITB)

UNICEF has now issued a Invitation to Bid in order to select a supplier for the Supply and Delivery of Incinerators to Ministry of Health in Honiara, Solomon Islands.

Please find attached the list of the incinerators with the specifications.
Please send us the brochures/models of the incinerators you have available in stock and provide bid for the supply and delivery of the incinerators to Ministry of Health in Honiara in Solomon Islands.

Your bid should be e-mailed to pacificbids@unicef.org and referenced ITB 2022-20-9176951 before closure of business on Sunday, 16 October 2022 at 5.00 pm (Fiji Time). Bids received after the stipulated date and time will be invalidated. It is important that you read all of the provisions of the Invitation to Bid, to ensure that you understand UNICEF’s requirements and can submit a bid in compliance with them. Note that failure to provide compliant bids may result in invalidation of your bid.
