Item Description:
The European Border and Coast Guard Agency, hereinafter referred to as “Frontex”, being contracting authority is planning to award the public contract referred above. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract(s) and technical specifications with their respective annexes. All documents are available in the attached ZIP File.
Subject of this call for tenders
Frontex will establish a single Framework Contract (FWC) for each Lot for the provision of fuel cards and associated services for Frontex vehicles.
Each FWC will be concluded for each Lot with one Contractor, capable of providing services as described in this Terms of Reference.
The Contractor can apply for one or two Lots.
The FWCs are separate, but identical in terms (the only difference being the country of the service coverage).
Scope of the contract
The objective of each FWC is to provide Frontex with fuel cards and optionally with associated services (tolls payments, e.g. oil, lubricant products, windscreen wash liquid, wipers, as well as to pay road, tunnels and bridges tolls, car washing, ad blue, liquid, coolant, windshield cleaner, winter fuel additive liquid, etc.) for Frontex vehicles.
The following Lots are envisaged to be procured under FWCs based on the geographic coverage of the services:
- Lot 1 – Montenegro, Serbia, Moldova and Turkey
- Lot 2 – Albania
The no-cash operation shall be based on any type of electronic tool arrangement or fuel cards provided by the Contractor. The offered electronic tool/fuel cards to be used by Frontex vehicles shall be accepted at all Contractor’s refuelling points and its partners.
