Item Description:
The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) or Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD) is a multilateral development finance institution. The AfDB is a financial provider to African governments and private companies investing in the regional member countries (RMC).
Invitation for Bids (IFB)
The Government of Ghana has received financing from the African Development Bank hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Greater Accra Sustainable Sanitation and Livelihoods Improvement Project (GASSLIP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Construction of Decentralized (Condominal) Sewerage Systems in Accra (Lots 1 & 2). Procurement process will be governed by the Bank’s Procurement Framework For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines and procedures for Investment Project Financing.
The Greater Accra Sustainable Sanitation and Livelihoods Improvement Project (GASSLIP) under the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Construction of Decentralized (Condominal) Sewerage Systems in Accra (Lots 1 & 2).
Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (International), OCBI procedures as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Framework2 (PROCUREMENT POLICY FRAMEWORK FOR BANK GROUP FUNDED OPERATIONS – October 2015) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.
