The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Government of India has received financing from Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Kolkata Environmental Improvement Investment Program – Tranche 3. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Kolkata Municipal Corporation (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for Supply of Sewer Cleansing Equipment for Kolkata Environmental Improvement Investment Program (KEIIP).
Open Competitive Bidding (OCB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
