Provision of International Express Mail Courier Services for the United Nations

• delivery of the UN International Express Mail to the final destinations within 1 to 7 business days.
• lockable truck/van equipped with any necessary equipment to safeguard UN’s shipments to avoid exposure to inclement weather during the transportation and transition.
• designate a Dedicated Account Representative to facilitate information exchange between the UN and the Contractor who will be responsible for the coordination of entire service provision, including but not limited to responding to inquiries, contract management issues, submission of invoices and required documents.

The Contractor shall be fully responsible for all work performed by its employees, agents and sub contractors. The Contractor shall take all reasonable measures to ensure that its employees, agents and sub contractors performing the services conform to the highest standard of moral, ethical and professional conduct, and must observe the UN Security and Safety Regulations.

The initial contract term will be for two (2) years, with the option to extend for three (3) additional one- year periods at the sole option and discretion of the United Nations, under the same terms and conditions.

During the period from 1 July 2021 through 30 June 2022, the total weight and number of shipments were approximately 22,070 pounds and 6,941 shipments.

The UN does not guarantee a minimum or maximum shipment volume. The UN also does not guarantee any monetary value or order any minimum amount of the Services from the resulting contract.

The UN shall track the service performance evaluation using Key Performance Indicators to ensure that the Services provided conform to the services levels promised/guaranteed.

The Contractor must comply with the ISO 9001 of equivalent quality management systems standard and must provide a copy of the ISO 9001 or equivalent certificate issued by the internationally recognized accredited bodies.
