The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Kingdom of Bhutan has applied for financing from the ADB towards the cost of the Water Flagship Program Support Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Thimphu Thromde (Municipality) (“the Employer”), invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction distribution network for Pamtsho, Thimphu (“the Works”).
Open Competitive Bidding (National Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document.
