Procurement of solar kit and it’s related items

Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

For its efforts to enhance solidarity between nations and reduce the difference between rich and poor states, UNICEF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965.

Invitation to bid (ITB)

UNICEF wishes to enter into (a) non-exclusive Long Term Arrangement(s) (“LTA”) for the procurement of solar kit and it’s related items for UNICEF and its partners in Lebanon.

Offers should be submitted in ENGLISH not later than 12:00 hrs, 11 January 2023 By e-mail to:
lebtender@unicef.org.

Offers will be opened at 12:30 (Lebanon time) on 11 January 2023. ITB received after the stipulated date and time will be invalidated.

The reference LITB-2022-9180359 must be shown on the email containing in the e-mail’s subject.

The Invitation to Bid form must be used when replying to this invitation.

All requests for formal clarification or queries on this LITB must be submitted in writing to the
