Provision of Facility Maintenance and Management Services

Item Description:

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), a specialized agency of the United Nations based in Rome, Italy, hereby solicits proposals for the Provision of Facility Management Services.

The object of this bidding exercise is to identify a qualified company that can assume full responsibility for the facilities and their operation. The company shall be accountable to the Facility Management Engineer.

Facility maintenance and management services are understood to be all the services aimed at maintaining the functional status and preservation of the technological systems of the IFAD headquarters building.

The operation and maintenance service will cover the following installations:

• Mechanical, ventilation and air conditioning installations
• Water and sanitation systems, greywater and sewage drainage systems, irrigation systems – Electrical installations
• Firefighting and fire detection installations
• Security and access control installations
• Building works
