The European Institute for Gender Equality, the regulatory agency of the European Union, (referred to below as the contracting authority) issues this Request for Expression of Interest for Generative AI and gender equality: a thematic focus of the Gender Equality Index 2027.

Description

The main objective of this contract will be to procure a study on gender equality dimensions of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support the thematic focus of Gender Equality Index 2027. The study will seek to contribute to building the knowledge base on the nexus between generative AI and gender equality. It will also analyse several specific effects of generative AI and gender equality in the EU and policy efforts to prevent and address negative gendered consequences of generative AI technologies.
