The European Commission, Directorate-General for Communication, referred to below as the contracting authority, is planning to award the contract resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, this invitation letter, the draft contract and tender specifications with their respective annexes. The documents are published in English.

Subject of this call for tenders

The subject of this call for tenders is “Provision of Professional Moderator/Facilitator Services”. The European Commission Representation Office in Copenhagen is seeking to procure professional moderator services for use at its yearly conferences and numerous events organised by the European Commission in Denmark. To this end, professional agencies offering moderation and facilitation services are invited to submit tenders for the facilitation of the requested services.

The moderators and facilitators offered should possess in-depth knowledge of European and Danish politics, in particular – though not exclusively – within a range of priority areas, which are outlined in more details below. The European Commission places great emphasis on gender equality and diversity. It is therefore essential that the proposed pool of moderators and facilitators reflects a balanced representation in terms of gender and broader diversity.

The purchases that are the subject of this call for tenders, including any minimum requirements, are described in detail below.

Variants (alternatives to the model solution described in the tender specifications) are not allowed. The contracting authority will disregard any variants described in a tender.
