Item Description:

Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company Limited (LWSC) ng from the World Bank toward the cost of the Lusaka Sanitation Program, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for supply and delivery of Equipment for Sewer Maintenance.

The Lusaka Sanitation Project aims to increase access to sustainable sanitation services to Lusaka’s residents especially the urban poor and strengthen Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company’s (LWSC) capacity to manage sanitation services. The program aims to address one of Zambia’s most binding constraints to economic growth through infrastructure investment in Lusaka, the rapidly urbanizing capital.
