Design, supply, installation, commissioning of an Advanced metering infrastructure in Rawalpindi circle, new Customer Information System and New Billing System for the Entire Company in Islamabad Electric Supply Company Limited (IESCO)

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank toward the cost of Second Power Distribution Enhancement Investment Program, Tranche I. Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above.

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company Limited (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the design, supply, installation, commissioning of an Advanced Metering Infrastructure in Rawalpindi circle, new customer information system and new billing system for the entire company in Islamabad Electric Supply Company Limited (IESCO) (“the Facilities”). The Facilities comprise approximately 900,000 smart electricity meters including related equipment and IT systems including a Head End System, a Meter Data Management System and a Billing system. The Time for Completion of designated parts or the whole Products and/or Services shall be 36 Months from the Effective Date as described in the Contract Agreement.

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: Two-Envelope Bidding Procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
