Total Facilities Management

Item Description:

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) seeks expressions of interest (EOI) in a forthcoming tender for the provision of Total Facilities Management at its headquarters building in central London.

The successful bidder will be expected to provide exemplary facilities management through permanent site-based teams with continuous support from an offsite operational and administrative team. The remit will include the following functions:

• engineering and fabric maintenance
• 24-hour security manning
• catering (decision pending, but from mid-2020 at the earliest)
• office and window cleaning
• implementation and management of a CMMS PPM and reactive maintenance scheduler (Shires, Concept, Maximo, etc.).
• porter services
• waste collection, including confidential waste
• access control
• gardening and maintenance of indoor plants
• offsite document archiving and retrieval
• annual audit of furniture, fixtures and gifts

The contract will be for an initial term of three years, starting on 1 May 2019, and may be renewed for a maximum of two further years subject to excellent performance throughout the initial term. Performance will be measured on specific key indicators for the main functions as listed within the contract tender documents.
