Architectural and Engineering consultancy services for the review of the Dag Hammarskjöld Library Building (DHL) and the South Annex Building (SAB) at UN Headquarters in New York City

The United Nations Procurement Division will shortly be seeking qualified vendors for an architectural and engineering review of the Dag Hammarskjöld Library Building (DHL) and the South Annex Building (SAB) at UN Headquarters located in Midtown East in New York City.

The selected vendor shall evaluate both buildings and develop a scope of work and construction tender documents for the necessary renovation to improve the physical security of the buildings and to accommodate the programmatic functions including but not limited to the library and catering services.

The selected vendor shall be required to assemble a multi-disciplinary team including, but not limited to, the following disciplines :

1. Architect(s)
2. Cost estimator(s)
3. Civil engineer(s)
4. Structural engineer(s)
5. Blast engineer(s)
6. MEP/Structural engineer(s)
7. Library service consultant(s)
8. Food service consultant(s)

The selected vendor is expected to demonstrate, among other requirements, successful prior experience in similar projects and availability of qualified team members. It is anticipated that the lead consultant will be an architect or an engineer and may need to provide some of the listed disciplines on a sub- consultancy basis.

The anticipated timeframe for the required services for this specific project is from Mid-February 2019 through the end of May 2020.
