Item Description:

Assisting 80 million people in around 80 countries each year, the World Food Programme (WFP) is the leading humanitarian organization fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience.

WFP is exploring new ways to address hunger and developing new systems, processes and tools to deliver assistance in our global operations. To enable this change WFP has developed an open-source platform called SCOPE that improves our distribution management as well as the delivery of new types of assistance like cash and vouchers.

WFP is soliciting expressions of interest from qualified suppliers involved in the production and delivery of Fingerprint Scanner. The required items should have the following features:

Response

In order to participate in the pre-selection exercise, companies are required to provide the following:

• Confirmation of interest in being considered for the delivery of the above items;
• Company description and brief summary of experience in the required business (max 2 pages);
• No financial proposal is required at this stage.

Upon receipt of a positive response, WFP may proceed with the next steps to engage a vendor.
