    Item Description:

    This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online (UNDB online) dated on April 04th, 2014 and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website (www.afdb.org).

    The Government of Republic of Angola has received Financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of Fishery Sector Support Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for REHABILITATION OF 30 KM FEEDER ROAD AT ARTISANAL FISHING COMMUNITY OF N’GOLOME

    The PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION UNIT now invites sealed bids from eligible Potential Constructors for the execution of the works above located in N’golome Fishing Communities Cuanza Norte province as per the requirements set in the Bidding Document Section IV hereafter called “the Works”). International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Bank’s Rules and Procedures for Procurement of Goods and Works.

    Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and the bidding documents at the office of:

    Fishery Sector Support Project, Bairro Talatona, Rua do Mat – Complexo Administrativo, Edifício no 5 – 1st Floor, Luanda, Angola. Email: miguelcabral222@hotmail.com or akalunga74@hotmail.com

    A complete set of bidding documents may be obtained (free of charges) by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address or email above

    The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions are those of the Bank’s Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Works.

    Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 11 O’clock Angolan time on January 25th, 2019 and must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty as stated in ITB 19.1 of the Bidding Document.

    Bids shall remain valid for 120 days after the deadline for bid submission prescribed above or any amendments thereof.

    Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 11h15 at the office of: Fishery Sector Support Project, Bairro Talatona, Rua do Mat – Complexo Administrativo, Edifício no 5 – 1st Floor, Luanda, Angola.
