    Item Description:

    Assisting 80 million people in around 80 countries each year, the World Food Programme (WFP) is the leading humanitarian organization fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience.

    Like every connected person and business in the world, WFP is concerned with cyber adversaries and their capabilities to penetrate the institutional computing resources and data.  While the cyber security program at WFP is both proactive and continuously evolving, it is recognized that it is a matter of “when, not if” a cyber intrusion will occur.

    Therefore, WFP is soliciting expressions of interest from qualified suppliers who perform incident response services. WFP wishes to have agreements already in place to perform such services prior to a major incident given the time sensitive activities such as for containment, investigation, and recovery.

    WFP has offices in over 85 countries, most in remote areas. It is expected most contracted services would need to be provided in locations where WFP maintains data centers. For this reason, the supplier’s ability to tackle and analyze cyber incidents on many WFP premises would be an advantage.

    Response

    In order to participate in the pre-selection exercise, companies are required to provide the following:

    • Have a previous, proven track record in the delivery of incident response services, preferably with organizations with diplomatic concerns. Include examples of the work done with other Organizations (max 1 page);
    • Company description and summary of experience in the required business (max 4 pages);
    • Description of the standard operating processes and tools used in these kinds of exercises;
    • List of operating systems/platforms on which the company can conduct forensics (Windows, Linux, Cisco, OSX, SAP, Azure, AWS, etc.);
    • No financial proposal is required at this stage.

    Upon receipt of a positive response, WFP may proceed with the next steps to engage a vendor.

    If your company is interested in partaking in this initiative, please provide the information requested to the following email address:
