Provision of installation of weather proofing membrane to address the leakage from the roof of the Zambezi building located at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia hereby seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from suitable and experienced vendors for provision of installation of weather proofing membrane to address the leakage from the roof of the Zambezi building located at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Background:

This has reference to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) endeavor to carryout alteration of its facilities. This particular project aims to address leakage from the roof of the Zambezi building. The proposed solution aims at utilizing technology and weather proofing membrane to address recorded challenges related to the maintenance of electromechanical installation above the described roof and provide material that is relatively more stable against ultraviolet.

Interested firms will be invited to the tender by “Request for Proposal” (RFP) at a later stage. The detailed specifications and necessary documents will be contained in the RFP Bid document.

Please note that the UNECA is precluded from entering into contract with a firm that is not fully registered with UNGM. Those interested in responding to this invitation but not currently fully registered as vendors with UNGM, are encouraged to register before submission of the bid. Company registration number and UNGM registration number if already registered as a vendor with the UN. If not already registered companies may still respond to the EOI but are strongly recommended to commence the registration process at the United Nations Global Marketplace website (www.ungm.org) and seeking registration at LEVEL1 and above.
