Provision of Graphic design services on a two year long term arrangement ( LTA)

Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Zambia is seeking to engage qualified institutions to provide  Graphic Design services on a two year long term arrangement ( LTA).

Summary

Each year, UNICEF Zambia office produces publications, banners, and information and multimedia materials for office use. The materials range from reports, advocacy products and infographics, to training manuals and calendars etc. In addition, the office support production of information, education and communication (IEC) material for programme activities where graphic design services is required. In this regard, UNICEF Zambia is planning to establish long-term agreements with institutions providing quality graphic design services to help the office meet its growing needs. The successful entity will provide technical support to the Communication section (and other sections as needed) in designing UNICEF publications and contribute to the development and improvement of the design, branding and layout of materials produced by UNICEF. It will ensure that the country office’s products and reports are following UNICEF graphic guidelines, provide the best possible functionality and usability to UNICEF partners, and contribute to the overall branding process. The responsible vendor is to ensure the implementation and adherence to existing graphic guidelines; layout of reports and publications; development of new graphic solutions; and design of innovative products.

Objectives / Target

The purpose of this LTA is to develop graphic designs for the office and its supported programme activities.

The objectives of the services are to:

• Ensures that the UNICEF branding and editorial guidelines have been adhered to at all advocacy and IEC materials produced by the office
• Reduces transaction time
• The qualified services are available as and when needed by programme sections
