Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

For its efforts to enhance solidarity between nations and reduce the difference between rich and poor states, UNICEF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965.

Request for proposal (RFP)

UNICEF Europe & Central Asia Region (ECARO) invites your company to submit an offer for the attached Request for Proposal (RFP) for Services.

The RFP is for the establishment of Long-Term Arrangements (LTAs) for the Provision of Graphic Design Services, a duration of 5 years (2+2+1 years) in Switzerland (ECARO region-wide).

Please note that this tender is open for companies which are legally registered in Switzerland or ECARO region or companies who have legal presence in Switzerland or ECARO region. Please note that applications of companies which do not have legal presence in Switzerland or ECARO will be disqualified.

The Proposals must be received at the below e-mail address by latest 7 February 2023, at or before 1:00p.m.(Switzerland time).

Proposals received after the stipulated date and time will be invalidated. Due to the nature of this RFP, there will be no public opening of proposals.

*Full proposals must be submitted in ENGLISH and must be received not later than the closure date and time as duly signed, stamped and dated.

**Bidders are requested to send electronic version of their proposals by email as duly signed & stamped .pdf documents to (ecaroprocurement_tco@unicef.org.) in two (2) separate emails with the tender reference in their email subjects. Proposals should not be uploaded to any type of cloud/sharing platforms. The submission documents should be sent as email attachments.

*** Proposers must indicate the validity period of their Proposal. Proposals should be valid for a period of not less than one hundred and twenty (120) days after the Submission Deadline. A Proposal valid for a shorter period of time shall not be further considered. UNICEF may request the Proposer to extend the validity period. The Proposal of Proposers who decline to extend the validity of their Proposal shall become disqualified as no longer valid. It is the Bidders’ responsibility to measure and take into account the current and upcoming economical situations and all other factors influencing the costing and other issues related to contract implementation while submitting the responses which will be valid till the end day of the contract.

Financial proposals shall be sent both as excel and signed pdf attachments and shall be secured by a password and sent in a separate email, and the password will only be asked when an offer is evaluated technically acceptable and therefore eligible for opening of the financial proposals. Please do not put the passwords in the email. The passwords for the financial proposals will be requested only from the technically qualified bidders when the technical evaluation is finalized.

Proposals received in any other manner will be invalidated.
