Item Description:
The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank with a mission to improve social and economic outcomes in Asia. The Government of India has applied for financing from the ASIAN INFRASTUCTURE INVESTMENT BANK towards the cost of Andhra Pradesh Project TO PROVIDE RURAL ROAD CONNECTIVITY TO UNCONNECTED HABITATIONS OF 250+ POPULATION and intends to apply a part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contracts 1 for construction of works.
Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procedures in accordance with AIIB Procurement Policy (PP) and Associated Interim Operational Directive on Procurement Instructions for Receipients (PIR) as agreed with the AIIB.
Bidders from India should, however, be registered with the Government of India or other State Governments/Government of India, or State/Central Government Undertakings. The bidder should upload the Contractor Registration at the time of submission of bid.
Bidders are advised to note the clauses on eligibility (Section I ITB Clause-3) and the qualification criteria (Section 1 – ITB Clause-4) to qualify for award of contract.
The Engineer-In-Chief, PR will invite 2nd call online bids simultaneously for the construction of Road Works. Therefore the bidders may submit bids for any or more packages as per the eligibility.
Bidding documents are available online on http://www.eprocure.gov.in from 15-02-2019 16.00 Hours to 18-03-2019 15.00 Hours. Bidders will be required to register on the website, which is free of cost. The bidders would be responsible for ensuring that any addenda available on the website is also downloaded and incorporated.
For submission of the bid, the bidder is required to have Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) from one of the Certifying Authorities authorised by Government of India for issuing DSC. Aspiring bidders who have not obtained the user ID and password for participating in e-procurement in this Project, may obtain the same from the website: http://www.eprocure.gov.in.
