Design and Delivery of a General Service Support Staff Training Programme to improve service delivery in the African Region

Item Description:

The World Health Organization (WHO) is a public international organization, consisting of 194 Member States, and a Specialized Agency of the United Nations with the mandate to act as the directing and coordinating authority on international health work. As such, WHO is dependent on the budgetary and extra-budgetary contributions it receives for the implementation of its activities. Bidders are, therefore, requested to propose the best and most cost-effective solution to meet WHO requirements, while ensuring a high level of service.

The objective of this activity is to enhance the capacity of WHO General Service Support staff in the African Region to improve the effectiveness of the delivery of WHO activities in the African Region, support Phase II of the implementation of the AFRO Transformation Agenda and deliver on the triple billion objectives outlined in the 13th General Programme of Work.
