Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of two Central UPSs for Niger Building Project

The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia hereby seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from suitable and experienced vendors for the Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of two Central UPSs of 200KVA for the Niger Building Project at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Background

ECA currently have 11 units of UPS in the Niger building which are supplying power to the entire building. These units are installed on all floors along with files and other materials of the office occupants.

Due to safety hazard issues, maintenance convenience and current flexible workspace requirements, ECA proposes to replace the 11 units of UPS with heavy-duty high capacity central UPSs to be installed at the basement of the Niger building in an air-conditioned room

Interested firms will be invited to the tender by “Invitation to Bid ” (ITB ) at a later stage. The detailed specifications and necessary documents will be contained in the ITB Bid document.

Please note that the UNECA is precluded from entering into contract with a firm that is not fully registered with UNGM. Those interested in responding to this invitation but not currently fully registered as vendors with UNGM, are encouraged to register before submission of the bid. Company registration number and UNGM registration number if already registered as a vendor with the UN. If not already registered companies may still respond to the EOI but are strongly recommended to commence the registration process at the United Nations Global Marketplace website (www.ungm.org) and seeking registration at LEVEL 2.
