Supply, installation and maintenance of Vehicle tracking System in all Iraq UNAMI locations

Item Description:

1.0 United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit proposal for the Supply, installation, maintenance, upgrade and repair of Vehicle tracking System in all Iraq UNAMI locations with the initial contract of 1 year period with the option to extend at UNAMI’s discretionunder the same terms and conditions for four additional years period, one year at a time (1+1+1+1) and subject to continuation of UNAMI mandate in Iraq, availability of funds and satisfactory performance by the prospective contractor(s) 2.0 UNAMI’s requirement can be summarized as follows: 2.1. For all UNAMI locations in Iraq (Baghdad, Erbil and BIAP with an extension ability to include additional base stations in Basra, Kirkuk, Ramadi, Najjaf and Kuwait), UNAMI requires following solution: 2.1.1. UNAMI SSI needs to procure a robust vehicle tracking system to monitor all of its fleet of mission operational vehicles within the Iraq theatre of operations. To purchase 74 devices and services including airtime, monitoring platform access subscription, spares and training as required. 3.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) with detailed specifications and SOW to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. 4.0 Please note the following: 4.1 This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid/proposal. 4.2 UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for an document. 4.3 UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
