Supply of Water and Wastewater pumps for United Nations missions

The United Nations Procurement Division (UNPD) is seeking Expressions of Interest from reputable manufacturers, authorized dealers and distributors to supply a wide range of pumps to meet the United Nations missions’ operational requirements such as, abstraction, transfer, distribution and treatment of potable water as well as the processing of wastewater. The United Nations requires a wide variety of pumps to fulfill these purposes.

Raw water sources include shallow wells, deep boreholes, rivers, streams and lakes, as well as brackish and salty water sources like swamps and salty groundwater. Wastewater includes domestic sewage and sullage from UN civilian and military camps.

Wherever applicable and viable, these pumps shall have an option to be powered by solar energy in addition to or as an alternative to the UN mission’s existing electrical sources.

The initial contract period shall be for three (3) years plus an optional two (2) one-year extensions with an after-sales support period of five years beyond contract expiration.

The detailed scope of requirements, including the technical specitications, quantities and expected delivery dates will be provided within the solicitation which will be sent out to all vendors responding to this expression of interest (EOI). No further detail can be made available prior to the issuance of the solicitation.
