Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Second City Region Development Project, and part of the proceeds of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Local Government Engineering Department, District: Dhaka (the “Employer”) invites bids (e-Tenders) from eligible Bidders for the Improvement of Road in Savar Upazila under Package W-02 (“the Works”):

- Construction of 1.50m x 2.00m Box Culvert at Ch.4895m on the Road ID # 326722004;
- Construction of 3 nos. 1000mm dia pipe culvert at Ch.5435m, Ch.5880m and Ch.6025m on the Road ID # 326722004;
- Construction of 42m long PC Girder Bridge at Ch. 6830m on the Road ID # 326722004;
- Construction of 15m long RCC Girder Bridge at Ch. 7210m on the Road ID # 326722004;
- Construction of 15m RCC Girder Bridge at Ch. 8470m on the Road ID # 326722004;
- Construction of road side drain along the Road (Ch.0-1050m and Ch.7225-8200m) (Road ID # 326722004);
- Improvement of Dhaka Aricha RHD at Dairy Farm Gate – Pathalia UP Office via Kashipur and Monohor Road (Ch.1071-5738m) (Road ID # 326723024);
- Construction of 2 nos.1000mm dia pipe culvert at Ch.1152m and Ch.1313m on the Road ID # 326723024;
- Construction of 15 nos. Box Culvert (0.625m x 0.600m) on the Road ID # 326723024;
- Construction of 42m RCC Girder Bridge at Ch. 3230m on the Road ID # 326723024;
- Construction of 1.0m x 1.20m Box Culvert at Ch. 3410m on the Road ID # 326723024;
- Improvement of Prantik Bazar BLRI – Ashulia UP Road (Ch.0-5510m) (Road ID # 326723017);
- Construction of RCC drain along the Road (Ch.0-500m) (Road ID # 326723017);
- Improvement of road from Ashulia UP – Katgora Bazar via Baro Rangamatia (Ch.0-4611m) including 150m link (Road ID # 326723010);
- Improvement of road from Katgora Bazar – Chitrashail via Kandail Road (Ch.0-2637m) including 150m link (Road ID # 326724198).
National competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure through electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) system and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
