Item Description:
The United Nations Procurement Division (UNPD) will shortly be issuing a solicitation for a long term agreement with a qualified vendor to provide drapery-related materials, services and associated equipment for the United Nations Headquarters (UNHQ) and off-site buildings which may be owned or leased by the UN in New York, USA.
Only those prospective Vendors that respond to this Expression of Interest (EOI) and are deemed qualified upon the completion of an objective evaluation of their submission, will receive the finalised solicitation documents.
The appointed vendor shall be required to furnish labour, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and disposal together with all incidentals necessary or required to complete the following:
- Drapery fabrication and installation;
- Drapery cleaning and repair;
- Drapery flame-retardant treatment;
- Pipe and drapery rental service;
- Provision and installation of Heavy-duty Traverse Tracks/Rods;
- Provision of manual 1 inch and 2 inch aluminum venetian blinds;
- Provision of motors and spare parts for automated venetian blinds;
- Provision of flag pole cords;
- Provision of UN-Blue colored fabric;
- Provision of other fabric and other additional materials;
- Provision of additional services for urgent requirements that may develop; and,
- Provision of additional materials which may include foam (roll & sheet), adhesive glue, staples, upholstery tacks, silicone lubricant, upholstery nails, upholstery buttons and velcro.
