    Item Description:

    The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) is seeking potential and qualified vendors for the Provision of Electrical items on “as and when required basis” to UNAMA, Kabul, Afghanistan. UNAMA intends to establish a contract for one year with option to extend for additional one year.

    Delivery will be made to UNAMA, UNOCA Compound, Kabul, Afghanistan.

    The electrical materials include but not limited to:

    LED flood Lights, LED Street lights, LED tube lights, LED circular ceiling downlight lamps, LED flexible strip lights, LED bulbs, Emergency lighting fixtures, Double pole switch, Tilt float switch, Pressure switches, Heavy duty sliding gate switch, Different types of MCCBs, Contactor, Cables, Strip connector terminal, Concert Drills, Schucko type sockets, Exhaust fans, Electrical insulations, PVC trunkings, PVC ppe, Ground Rods, Distribution boards, Metal Enclosure Box, PVC Junctions, MCBs, DC fuse holders etc..

    Please note that this notice is issued only to allow companies to express their interest; it does not constitute a solicitation. Submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee that a company will be considered for receipt of the tender. UNAMA reserves the right to change or cancel its requirement at any time.

    Details for the requirement will be provided in the solicitation documents to the invited vendors only. Please deliver your Expression of Interest and all requested information with supporting documents either by hand delivery to Chief of Unit, Procurement, UNOCA Complex, Jalalabad Road, Kabul, Afghanistan, OR by email to: lhamo@un.org copy unama-procurement@un.org.

    Please forward the following document for review along with your EOI response: To be eligible for inclusion in the bidding exercise, company must have:

    1. copy of valid license/registration to operate in Afghanistan.
    2. proof of one similar experience – copy of relevant pages of contract showing date of contract, names of signatories, title of contract, services performed under the contract, the contract amount.
    3. Completed level 1 registration or at least in submitted status at level 1 in UNGM.

    Due to the nature of requirement, companies outside Afghanistan showing interest must show that they have registered business in Afghanistan and provide valid business license.

    Closing date for receipt of response is 25 May 2019.
