Construction of Ban Bor Ta Kai, Ban Chom Ong Junction Road Improvements

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Government of Lao People’s Democratic Republic has received a Loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Tourism Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth (TIIG) Project. Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from all eligible ADB member countries.

The Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction of Ban Bor Ta Kai – Ban Chom Ong Junction Road Improvements, Xay District, Oudomxay Province (“the Works”). The Works comprise the improvement of approximately 16.45 Km of road surfaces to an average width of 4.50m of DBST with a 0.25m paved shoulders, pipe culverts, box culvert, longitudinal drainage and others.

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document.
