Constructing new 50,000 m3/day water treatment plant

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Water Sector Investment Program Multi- Tranche Financing Facility (MFF) Tranche 3 – Thai Nguyen Sub-project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Thai Nguyen Water Joint Stock Company (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the material supply, construction and installation and commissioning of a new surface water treatment plant in Thai Nguyen city with the following key components:

• One raw water intake with capacity of 52,500 m3/day;
• One raw water pumping station with capacity of 52,500 m3/day;
• One raw water pipeline of steel, DN800, L=180m;
• One 50,000 m3/d water treatment plant;
• Auxiliary works (administration house, chemical house, transforming station, sludge pond, drainage, internal roads, gate and fences…).

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document.
