Supply of four (4) garbage compactor trucks and four (4) faecal suction trucks – 2 lots

The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) or Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD) is a multilateral development finance institution. The AfDB was founded in 1964 and comprises three entities: The African Development Bank, the African Development Fund and the Nigeria Trust Fund. The AfDB’s mission is to fight poverty and improve living conditions on the continent through promoting the investment of public and private capital in projects and programs that are likely to contribute to the economic and social development of the region. The AfDB is a financial provider to African governments and private companies investing in the regional member countries (RMC).

The Government of Rwanda has received financing from the African Development Bank in the form of a loan towards the cost of Rwanda Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Program. The Water and Sanitation Corporation (“WASAC Ltd”), an executing agency, intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contract for which this Tender Document is issued.

WASAC Ltd now invites eligible bidders to submit sealed Bids for the procurement of the Supply of Four (4) Garbage Compactor Trucks and Four (4) Faecal Suction Trucks following International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procurement method, which is divided into 2 LOTS:

• Lot 1: Supply of Four (4) Garbage Compactor Trucks
• Lot 2: Supply of Four (4) Faecal Suction Trucks
