Construction of Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems in Small Islands for Supporting Electricity Supply Reliability Improvement Project – Package 6

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Supporting Electricity Supply Reliability Improvement Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), (“the Employer”), now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems in Small Island – Package 6.

Completion Period is: 730 Days

International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single Stage: Two Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document.
