Provision of Airfield Ground Handling Services in Kenya, at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Mombasa’s Moi International Airport and Wajir International Airport

The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from competent and qualified companies for the Provision of Airfield Ground Handling Services in Kenya, at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Mombasa’s Moi International Airport and Wajir International Airport. The services include provision of all related equipment required for Passenger and Cargo/Baggage processing/ handling and Aircraft Ground Support, for United Nations Aircrafts in the aforementioned airports in Kenya.

All services must strictly conform to the IATA’s Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) and IATA Ground Operations Manual (IGOM) Standards at a minimum.

In addition to the above, the desired practical experience a company shall possess is at least five (5) years’ in providing the required Airfield Ground Handling services, either at any or all the listed International Airports in Kenya or any other International airport.

The Aircraft types currently operated by the United Nations include, but are not limited to the following: CRJ-200, B-737, B-767, ATR 72, AN-26, IL-76, MI-26, BE-1900/ 200, AN-24, C-130, MI-8/17, DHC–8/100, DHC–8/Q400 and DHC-7

Interested companies should provide initial relevant information demonstrating their ability to fulfill UNSOS’s requirements. In addition, the interested companies will be requested to complete UNSOS Vendor Registration Form.
