Provision of Non-Medical Face Masks for the United Nations

The United Nations (UN) is aiming to establish a global system contract for the provision of UN Non- medical Face masks (Dust Masks) to all UN Missions and Offices for a period of two years duration contract.

The confirmed cases of the COVID-19 outbreak continue to rise which had required additional risk mitigation measures by all countries worldwide. This had required from the United Nations Offices to adhere to the local regulations of the host countries by supplying its staff with all personal protection supplies, which meanwhile come in line with the guidelines of the World Health Organization.

While knowing that the face masks of any type will not alone protect an individual from contracting the virus, they can, however, help to prevent the spread of the disease when combined with social distancing, regular hand washing and other preventive measures.

The face masks must be 100% cotton made, non-medical, reusable, blue or any other colors. Details of technical specifications and other terms and conditions shall be outlined in the invitation to bid.
