Item Description:
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to provide the United Nations Headquarters with a software application that supports the formalizing of Risk Management across the Secretariat. In support of the United Nations Secretariat’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programme, the Secretariat requires the capability to automate many activities, tools, and reports critical to the programme’s successful implementation. This document also identifies requirements for Organizational Resilience and Environmental Sustainability Management. The objective of the use of such an application is to facilitate the management of risks across the organization in a structured manner.
Scope
The information gathered from this RFI will be used to determine if there are software applications that are flexible enough to support the current functional requirements of the UN Headquarters Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Described in ANNEX A (attached document) are the recommended system requirements that should be considered which cover the development, maintenance, communication and standardization of risk and control related policies and procedures and activities globally across the Secretariat’s Departments, Offices, Missions, Commissions, Tribunals, sub-programmes, and functions. Assuming some of the functionalities developed for the Enterprise Risk Management programme can also serve requirements to support the monitoring of the efforts in Organizational Resilience and Environmental Sustainability Management, these requirements have also been incorported into this document.
Please note that this request does not constitute a solicitation. The Procurement Division reserves the right to change or cancel this request at any time. It should be noted that by submitting a reply to this RFI does not automatically guarantee or obligate the UN to invite any particular company to participate in the subsequent bidding process. The response to this RFI will not be used to pre-qualify vendors.
