Item Description:

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is a specialized agency of the United Nations (UN) that is responsible for issues that concern information and communication technologies. It is the oldest among all the 15 specialised agencies of UN.

The ITU coordinates the shared global use of the radio spectrum, promotes international cooperation in assigning satellite orbits, works to improve telecommunication infrastructure in the developing world, and assists in the development and coordination of worldwide technical standards. The ITU is active in areas including broadband Internet, latest-generation wireless technologies, aeronautical and maritime navigation, radio astronomy, satellite-based meteorology, convergence in fixed-mobile phone, Internet access, data, voice, TV broadcasting, and next-generation networks. The agency also organizes worldwide and regional exhibitions and forums, such as ITU Telecom World, bringing together representatives of government and the telecommunications and ICT industry to exchange ideas, knowledge and technology.

Request for Proposal

The ITU is pleased to invite qualified companies to submit a Proposal for the ITU Campus Wireless LAN Upgrade 2019, and as further described in the Terms of Reference in Annex IV.

To enable you to prepare and submit a Proposal, please find enclosed the following Annexes:

– Annex I: Instructions to Bidders;
– Annex II-A: Certificates to be submitted by the Bidder;
– Annex II-B: Bidder’s Information Form;
– Annex II-C: Recent References;
– Annex II-D: Project Methodology;
– Annex II-E: Financial Offer;
– Annex III: ITU General Conditions of Contracts; and
– Annex IV: Terms of Reference.

Please note that there is mandatory site visit on 25 July 2019 at 10: AM, and the deadline for your Proposal to be received by the ITU is no later than 3:00 PM CET on 26 August 2019. Late Proposals shall be rejected.
