eeZeeRUSF™
eeZeeRUSF™ is a Ready-to-Use Supplementary Food / Lipid-based Nutrient Supplement – Large Quantity for the treatment of moderate acute malnutrition.
Nutritional properties
eeZeeRUSF™ is a peanut-based RUSF developed for the treatment of moderate acute malnutrition (MAM). eeZeeRUSF™ can be eaten directly from the sachet. It does not require any preparation or refrigeration.
One 92g sachet contains 500 kcal.
eeZeeRUSF™ is developed to meet the additional needs for energy, essential fatty acids, high quality protein and micronutrients of children with MAM.
The nutritional content of eeZeeRUSF™ is in accordance with the WHO Technical Note on food supplements used in the management of children with MAM.
The recommended daily dose is 1 sachet per day in addition to continued breastfeeding and local food.
