eeZeePaste™NUT RUTF
eeZeePaste™ NUT RUTF is a Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food for treatment of Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM). eeZeePaste™ NUT RUTF does not require any preparation and can be consumed directly from the sachet.
Nutritional qualities
The composition of eeZeePaste NUT™ ifollows the WHO/WFP/UNSSCN/UNICEF joint statement on Community-based Management of Severe Acute Malnutrition. eeZeePaste NUT™ does not require any preparation and can be eaten directly from the sachet. One 92 g sachet contains 500 kcal. The number of sachets required per day depends on the weight of the child; about 2 sachets per day for a 5 kg child and about 4 sachets per day for a 10 kg child. The consumption of eeZeePaste NUT™ must be accompanied by breast milk or clean drinking water.
