Provision of Paints and Related Products to United Nations Field Missions in Africa

This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to obtain information from all vendors about potential future requirements for the provision of paints and related products in support of United Nations field Missions in Africa. Therefore, the purpose of this RFI is to request written information about the products likely to be offered by vendors and prepare interested parties for participation in future solicitations.

Scope

The United Nations (UN) has Missions (offices) in several African countries, which are supported by the United Nations Procurement Division’s Global Procurement Support Section (UNPD/GPSS) in Entebbe. UNPD/GPSS is seeking suppliers, with the necessary licenses and permissions including manufacturer authorizations for all possible offered products. The successful contractor may be required to make deliveries to the various mission destinations on DAP Incoterms (2010) including, but not limited to the below:

1. RSCE – Uganda (Entebbe)
2. MONUSCO – Democratic Republic of Congo (Goma and Kinshasa), Uganda (Entebbe)
3. MINUSCA- Central Africa Republic (Bangui)
4. UNMISS- South Sudan (Juba)
5. UNISFA- Sudan (Abyei)
6. MINUSMA – Mali (Bamako)

Contract duration; Initial term is expected to be period of two (02) years with UN’s option to extend for three terms of one-year each i.e., (2+1+1+1).
