    Item Description:

    The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder and select one or more suitable contractor(s) to provide executive search services to Unitaid.

    Unitaid is seeking to enter into Long Term Agreement (LTA) with one or more suitable contractors to provide executive search services to the Secretariat. The LTA will be for an initial period of one year, and subject to an extension for another year, at Unitaid’s discretion, under the same terms and conditions.

    Tender deadlines:

    • Request for clarification: 19 August 2019 @ 17:00 Geneva time
    • Submission of Intention Bid: 21 August 2019 @ 17:00 Geneva time
    • Submission of proposal: 30 August 2019 @ 17:00 Geneva time

    Work to be performed

    1. To conduct a search for pools of best candidates, in accordance with Unitaid’s requirements, in relation to the post description and terms of responsibilities.
    2. Drawing on its extensive network, and a dedicated and experienced team, the executive search company will propose a list of suitable, interested and available candidates.
    3. Provide a summary document of potential candidates whom have been contacted briefly, along with their CVs and summary profile and data collected (e.g. contacts, gender, organisation).
    4. The firm will ensure that candidates eventually agree to undertake the WHO/Unitaid selection process.
    5. The vacancy notice will be published online on the WHO website for 3 weeks; the firm ensures the short-listed candidates will apply to the short-listed candidates will apply to the vacancy notice.

    Characteristics of the provider

    1. The provider shall be an institution operating in the field of human resources (HR) with proven expertise in executive search.
    2. Proven experience in the provision of executive search services to international organizations, preferably UN organizations is required.
    3. Proven experience in the provision of executive search services for the recruitment of international positions based in Geneva, Switzerland, is required.

    Previous work with Unitaid/WHO, other international organization and/or major institutions in the field of international development is desirable.
