Provision of Executive Search and Assessment Services (LTA)

Item Description:

IFAD’s Human Resources Division (HRD) is a strategic, integrated and fully trusted professional partner with IFAD managers and staff, providing best practice HR policies, advice, and service.
The HR Business Partner Unit is mainly responsible recruitment, on-boarding, administration of benefits and entitlements, support to clients with various HR-related matters including staff development, performance management, social security, and consultants administration.
HR Business Partners are the hiring manager’s main partner in recruitment of all general service and professional staff. The role of HR Business Partner is adapted slightly in recruitments of director and above level positions, to integrate an extra party in the selection process: Executive Search and Assessment Service providers.

IFAD requires an executive search and assessment firm to partner with IFAD appointed HR staff, and with IFAD executive management to identify strong candidates for senior-level positions on the basis of IFAD’s requirements, to assure IFAD is provided with internationally renowned persons that have strong managerial and leadership skills, solid technical experience in rural development, and are capable of driving IFAD’s strategic initiatives and of achieving IFAD’s strategic objectives.

Objectives of the RFP
The purpose of this tender is to establish non-exclusive Long Term Agreements (LTAs) with a limited number of reputable and experienced executive search and assessment firms with extensive experience in executive recruitment services, particularly for international organizations. The executive search and assessment firms will partner with IFAD’s Human Resources Business Partners in senior (UN D-1 or above) recruitments.
IFAD’s intention is to select the best three vendors as the result of this tender who will be awarded with LTAs.
