Procurement of Light Trucks

Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

Objective of this tender

Please find attached the bid document no. LITB-2019-9149839-REBID  for procurement of Light Trucks for UNICEF Myanmar.  It will be appreciated if you could provide your quotation for the items to UNICEF Myanmar Office no later than 10.00 a.m. on 20 September 2019.

The bid document should be sent to UNICEF Myanmar Office either by courier service or by email to procurementyangon@unicef.org ONLY. Bid document sent by any other e-mail will be considered as invalid.

Please also note the following :

• To include all the documents stated in paragraph 5.9 of LITB – 2019 -9149839-REBID
• Provide the picture and brochure of each item together with your bid document, failing which your bid may be invalid.

Note:

• We are attaching Annexure-I and Annexure-II along with this ITB which is mandatory to be filled in and attached while submitting the ITB clearly mentioning the deviations, if any in the above mentioned specifications for each item.
• Bidders should provide detailed technical specifications and brochures of the offered model along with this bid.
• Bidders should clearly mention the Warranty of the offered model along with list of Service Centers for after sales service.
• Bidders are requested to clearly mention any tax component included in the quoted prices separately.
