Reconstruction of Grodno Wastewater Treatment Plant

Item Description:

City Unitary Communal Production Enterprise “Grodnovodokanal” (the Employer) intends to use the loan from the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB, hereinafter called the “Bank”) and the grant funds (non-refundable technical aid) from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) towards the cost of  the Contract A1-7 “Completion of Reconstruction of Grodno Wastewater Treatment Plant, Phase 2”.

The Employer intends prequalifying firms and joint ventures to tender for the contract to be funded from the proceeds of the above-mentioned loan and grant.

Originally the Plant was planned to be completed within Contract A1-1 in June 2019. However, due to financial constraints of the Contractor the contract was delayed and finally terminated. At the moment approximately one third of civil works have been completed and almost half of the needed equipment supplied to the site. For all works detail designs have been prepared and approved by the State Expertise.

Contract A1-7 will be a Design Build Contract, where the main task of the Contractor is to finish the civil works, install the supplied mechanical equipment, supply and install the missing the mechanical, electrical and automation equipment, and to commission and hand over the completed plant to the Employer. After handing over the plant the Contractor will still be responsible for six months’ operation period, during which the process guarantee tests will be carried out.

Prequalification and tendering for the contract to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank is open to firms and joint ventures of firms from any country.

The prequalification documents must be duly completed and delivered to the address below, on or before 6 November 2019 at 15:00 local time.  Applications which are received late may be rejected and returned unopened.
