Erection of 230 KV and 110KV lines associated with the proposed 400/230-110 KV SS at Ottapidaram in Tirunelveli Region on total turnkey basis

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Government of India has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Chennai-Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor Power Sector Investment Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

The Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited (TANTRANSCO) (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for Erection of 230 KV and 110KV lines associated with the proposed 400/230-110 KV SS at Ottapidaram in Tirunelveli Region on total turnkey basis. The time for completion of the whole of the Facilities shall be 15 months from the effective date as described in the Contract Agreement.

International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document.
