Item Description:
CERN intends to place a contract for the supply of 32 CLIQ (Coupling-Loss induced Quench) units for the High Luminosity Project, each one consisting of an electrical cabinet equipped with an energy storage bank based on film capacitors with an energy up to 20 kJ. The CLIQ units include safety systems, electronic crates, cabling and a polypropylene film capacitor bank of 40 mF and 1000 V DC (the capacitors are not part of the supply).
Interested firms shall have a proven experience and competence in the field of manufacture, assembly and testing of electronic cabinets.
