Procurement of Vehicles (Double Cabs and Vans)

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Health System Enhancement Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Ministry of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of following vehicles. A brief description of the types of goods and related services are below:

The successful bidders must deliver Goods to the locations mentioned in the delivery and completion schedule in the Bidding Document. Also, delivery must be completed within 90 days from the signing of contract and introductory training to the technical staff on use of the vehicles should be arranged upon delivery.
