Construction of Urban Wastewater Pipeline Newtork, Sponge City Demonstration, Upgrading and Rehabilitation of Urban Landscaping and Street Lights

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The People’s Republic of China has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Yunnan Chuxiong urban Environment Improvement Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payment under the contract for Construction of Urban Wastewater Pipeline Network, Sponge City Demonstration, Upgrading and Rehabilitation of Urban Landscaping and Street Lights (Contract No.: CWD6) under the Wuding Urban Infrastructure and Environment Improvement Subproject.

Instrimpex International Tendering Company Co., Ltd (CNIITC, the Procurement Agent), authorized by and on behalf of Wuding Urban Construction and Development Investment Company (the Employer), now invites sealed bids from all eligible and qualified bidders for the following works:

The civil work including construction of urban wastewater pipeline network, sponge city demonstration, upgrading and rehabilitation of urban landscaping and streetlights.

a)  Construction of urban wastewater pipeline network: Construction of interception pipeline will be built on both sides of the Wulong River from Yongji Village to Mudan Road and on the southwest side of the river from Wuxu Road to Binhe Avenue.

b)  Sponges City Demonstration: Sponge city demonstration will be carried out on two plots, including landscaping, greening and watering, and lighting and electric engineering.

c)  Upgrade of urban streetlights: Lighting layout and power distribution design for the improvement of lighting facilities on 6 roads, i.e. Shishan Avenue, Renmin Bridge to Luquan Crossing Section, Huancheng East Road Section, Old Family Planning Service Station, Wufeng Bridge to Minghui Bridge Section and Minghui Street in Wuding County.

d)  Upgrade and rehabilitation of urban greening: Carry out landscape upgrading of 2 greening nodes of Yongji Village and Yancao Hotel; carry out dredging and weeding improvement on Mudan Road, Jingcheng Road, Jingxi Road, and water body landscape; construction of new greening watering pipeline in Beicheng Avenue, Wuzheng Road, Wuchan Road, Mudan Road, Chengbei Road, Binhe Road and Caiyuan Road. The construction period is 365 days. The intended completion time is 31 December 2020.
