Supplying and Laying of Water Distribution Networks in Nainativu, Analativu and Eluvativu Islands

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has received a financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Jaffna Kilinochchi Water Supply and Sanitation Project and intends to apply part of the financing to cover eligible payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Chairman, Ministry Procurement Committee on behalf of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (the Employer) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Supplying and Laying of Water Distribution Networks in Nainativu, Analativu and Eluvativu Islands (the Works).

National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the ADB’s Single Stage – One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
