The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
The Government of India has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Meghalaya Power Distribution Sector Improvement Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation Limited (MePDCL the “Employer”) invites online bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply of 180,000 Smart Meters and Associated Services.
Open Competitive Bidding – International will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
